How to Speed up Your Network Marketing Organisation

Network Marketing is a game..... Speed is the name of the game.

When it comes to building your network marketing organisation, how quickly you are able to jumpstart your business and start building your team is of paramount importance.  Network marketing is often likened to playing a game, the moment you make that decision to get involved the game begins.  To ensure you enjoy lasting success, you have to be quick to take actions and be consistent in your dealings.

You have to get in quick and start building up your team of distributors as well as building up your business/marketing skills such that you are in a leadership position and able to teach your team-mates.

Below are some ideas that can help you to reach the role of a leader very quickly so that you can start leveraging your network marketing team – the point where you do less work but earn more money.

1. Tell people about your business everyday

You can not afford to not talk to people when it comes to building your network marketing organisation. If you don’t share your business opportunity with people that you know….someone else will! Therefore, make it a habit to speak on a daily basis to your friends, family members, co-workers and any one you want to join your business opportunity.  Sit down with them and brief them about your business. Don’t count on everyone buying into your business. As a matter of fact some may even refuse to meet up with you. Nonetheless, these meetings are the main source of your building up your team members and consequently your income….so keep talking!

Just imagine few months down the line when you start changing your car, going on exotic holidays, moving to your dream house etc…..all those friends and family members that said no to you will come back with their credit cards begging to join your business!

Aim to invite at least 5 people a day, but there’s nothing stopping you from doing more!

 2. Conduct Presentations at least once a day

Having briefed individuals about your business, the next thing you need to do is a presentation. This would be the time and place to really showcase your business at a suitable time and place. To ensure you make the most of the moment, always ensure you present to groups of people and not just one or two. You can always invite your new team members as well as they will be able to learn from you and start duplicating your effort.

Don’t be afraid to invite companies or entire organizations to your presentations.

Even if nobody joins your business right then, you can at least let them know about your business and how to contact you when they’re ready to make a choice. Think of it as you sowing a seed in their heart….who knows…it might germinate one day and they will look for your card and make contact!

3. Have Regular Dialogue with Your Upline

Network marketing organisation is a team game….when someone is successful, you can be sure that at least one other person in the organisation is successful.  When you stay connected to your upline, when things are not going the way you want you can be sure you have someone that you can approach who has been doing it longer to ask for some advice.

Just take them out for coffee and pick their brain!

If you are unfortunate enough (it happens!) to have a direct upline that doesn’t have a lot of wisdom to offer (probably still trying to find their footings….), you can go to a higher level upline, or even a National Sales Rep. Which ever way, there is always someone up the chain that you can commune with. You’ll be surprised on the kind of help you’ll get. After all, your upline has a vested interest in your success!

 4. Know your Product and Business Thoroughly

Familiarise yourself with your products and business thoroughly such that you are able to tell people about your products’ benefits flawlessly. Beware that your knowledge of your products and business (or lack of it) says a lot about you and it will influence how your prospects perceive you. As a matter of fact, I really can’t imagine anyone successfully build a network marketing organisation without knowing much about their products/services….it’s kind of impossible! It is what you have to offer that people want to buy into…

Take time to learn all the nitty-gritty about your business; how the business works from top to bottom. Read up all available manuals, leaflets, brochures, and reports. Watch every video about your organization that you can possibly lay your hands on.

If there’s anything you don’t quite understand, talk to your up-line or the company managers.  Remember that an unasked question can potentially do more damage to your reputation than a stupid one.

 5. Attend Trainings

Network Marketing industry is one of very few industries that requires you as an individual to consistently develop yourself so that you can become that leader that is well equipped to build and maintain a network marketing organisation. Therefore, when you are not actively selling or recruiting take time out to learn, train and develop yourself.  Most mlm companies provide training for both new members and advanced members alike….seize that opportunity. The world is evolving, so is your mlm company and therefore so must you!

There is no such thing as…. “I know all that already.” Really??  That is a really bad attitude that can limit you. Right from the day Adam was created; people have always encountered new situations that require either a different set of skills or a different point of view. When you are constantly developing your skills, you will broaden your mind and that will allow you to leverage on other people’s experiences.

Think of yourself as a woodcutter—as you go on, at some point you have to sit down and sharpen your axe. Training makes you better at what you do.

Whatever you have learnt along the way, ensure you take action else you are moving nowhere.! Afterll trainings are meant to develop your skills, knowledge, understanding…

6. Have an Open Line of Communication with Your Downline

Your Network Marketing Team will always need you at some point in their journey up the ladder, make yourself available. Create time to meet with your downlines as often as once a week. It may be difficult to meet physically due to geological locations, therefore make good use of available resources such as Skype, facebook etc.

Let these meetings be centred on helping them with their own business goals and any other issues they want to share with you.  For efficiency, you may want to meet with them as a group and try to keep things to an hour at most.

When your downline feels supported, they are more likely to work hard towards building their network marketing business – which can only help you in the long run.

This is the concept of “driving the line”: helping your downlines build up their people… that you can start enjoying the power of network marketing leverage!

7. Be Your Own Client

Remember the saying, “Charity begins at home”?

Basically, put yourself in your clients’ shoes! Make sure you use the products or service yourself! As you make your products and/or services part of your day-to-day life, you will become more familiar with them and that will make it easier for you to speak about their benefits to your prospects as you will be speaking from experience.

One last thing – always have the attitude that you are conducting BIG business. People will want to work with someone who has a great vision for what they want to achieve and the confidence to get there. Adopting this “can-do” attitude will bring you that much closer to success.

All it takes is regular action and a plan to follow. I promise you that if you take the time to understand these simple concepts and put them to work, your business will start to grow in a way you never imagined possible.

Remi, Thank you for sharing these valuable tips. My favorite is tip 7 …being a visionary as well as having a “can do” attitude are crucial for success.
