The most important part of getting traffic to your blog definitely is commenting. If you leave a comment on someone elses website and they respond then do your best to have a dialouge. It builds relationships and you never know when you and him will be doing business together.

Hey Lawrence

Thanks for stopping by.

Whilst commenting on other people’s blog can be quite rewarding, if indeed you are looking for blog exposure, you need to make sure the blogs you are commenting on are firstly related to your niche and secondly that they do get traffic. If you go commenting on blogs that hardly gets visitors, the only person that you are exposing your blog to would be the blog owner and may be some few commenters – if any.

Best of luck

Hi Remi,

All 3 very good tactics and yes they can take a bit of time but they are well worth doing on a daily basis as it all soon adds up to more traffic. Commenting is a great way to get exposure if you are making a valuable comment. Great post.

Thanks for the reminder about commenting.

Can you clarify about the Squidoo lens please? I have one already, are you saying I should add every post to that or just my best ones? Should I add the entire post, or just an excerpt.
That’s a useful tip and one I hadn’t come across before, so would really appreciate clarification, please.

Hi Joy

Nice to have you here!
With regards to Squidoo lens, you should try and re-wwrite your blog content and post in Squidoo. Your best content will do….just make sure the Suidoo post is not as detailed as you have on your blog as people will want to come to your blog to read more about your post – it would be more beneficial for them if they can find more and not the same info.

I hope that clarffies it?

All the best
